Getting to your visit at VCU Medical Center

Located in downtown Richmond, the campus includes:

Way Finder

VCU Health Way Finder lets you plan your visit, check parking options and get turn-by-turn directions. It also guides you from your starting point to the right building, floor, unit or clinic, making it easier to get to your appointment.

Free parking at VCU Medical Center

Patients and visitors can park for free at the Patient and Visitor Parking at D Deck. The parking deck is open all day, every day. No parking validation is needed.

For appointments at the Adult Outpatient Pavilion, Ambulatory Care Center or Nelson Clinic, park for free at the Adult Outpatient Pavilion. Validate your parking ticket at any Adult Outpatient Pavilion information desk or valet parking desk.

Patients, families and visitors going to the Children’s Pavilion or Children’s Tower can park at the Children’s Parking Deck.

Valet services

Valet parking is offered Monday through Friday at these locations:

Ambulatory Care Center, 5 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Adult Outpatient Pavilion, 6:30 a.m. to 7 p.m.
Children’s Pavilion, 8 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
Gateway Building, 5 a.m. to 9 p.m.
North Hospital, 6:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m.

The cost is $5.00.

All valet locations accept vehicles until 5 p.m. Valet staff return vehicles until closing.

After-hours valet pickup

If your vehicle is still with the valet when we close, don’t worry. We will move it to the Gateway Building for safe overnight parking.

At closing time until 9 p.m. - valet parking team members will return vehicles
After 9 p.m. - contact security team on the ground floor of the Critical Care Hospital to get your vehicle
